La formation Mitchelton Scott, announced for several weeks in great financial difficulty, will finally be able to breathe. The departure of its title sponsors Mitchelton and Scott are offset with immediate effect by the arrival as main partner of the Manuela Fundación, a Spanish solidarity association which will start its activities very soon. The team is now called Team Manuela Fundación, and unveiled his new jersey this morning, in blue and pink colors. A radical change that reassures all riders and staff at GreenEdge Cycling, for whom the future prospects were dwindling day by day. Scott remains the supplier of the structure despite the end of the majority sponsorship. The foundation is already committed to 2021, and should follow the team for the long term, thanks to the investment of Francisco Huertas and Maria Angustias González, made on their personal funds.
