Eva Mottet, daughter of Charly Mottet and high level junior runner, left us this Friday at the age of 25 years, as announced by our colleagues in the Derailleur, site on which she regularly intervened. 4th place at the European Junior Time Trial Championships, followed by 6th place in the world in 2013, had revealed her potential as a champion. Committed to women's cycling, the young runner was one of those people who brings a lot to their discipline, as the Derailleur members explain on Facebook : “It was a real honor, a champion who invests in our team, who shares, who shines and gave a lot of support behind the scenes for the development of women's cycling on the site. To exchange, share, listen were vocations for you. At a time when kindness is only a fashion, you were the natural and spontaneous embodiment. We will keep the memory of a competitor, of a champion of course but it's your smile that will remain eternal in our eyes. thank you for everything, thanks for you. Our thoughts are with your family and loved ones”. A very beautiful tribute, which reminds us of the richness of the person before his prize list, his art of living before his family name. We extend our condolences to his family and loved ones.
