The French championships will be held this year at Grand Champs, in Brittany, instead of the initial circuit planned in Plumelec. They will take place just one week before the European Championships, also in Brittany, but should gather an extremely raised plateau. Indeed, since last year, professional runners have the obligation to attend the event. All the French Ag2r riders, for example, will be well at the start in August, with in particular Romain Bardet, Pierre Latour or even Benoît Cosnefroy. Only great runner not to have confirmed his presence, Julian Alaphilippe is still uncertain, undoubtedly to preserve oneself for the Tour. However, it would be preferable for him to take the start of the event, with a view to being selected for the Swiss Worlds in September. Favorite side, it will be necessary to rely more on the sprinters, such as Bryan Coquard, Arnaud Demare, Christophe Laporte or Nacer Bouhanni, to succeed Warren Barguil.
Bardet in France, Alaphilippe not yet confirmed
