Serge Pauwels withdraws from the pelotons

Belgian Serge Pauwels comes to the end of his professional career. 15 years spent in the cycling world which brought him some great success, and will have forged his image as a daring striker. Affected by a viral infection, he gives up participating in the Tour of Flanders and the Vuelta this year, and announced in the process that he intended to stop there with cycling. It therefore counts “close the parenthesis of cycling”, after 2 years at CCC. He ends his career with 3 success among professionals, including a Giro stage 2009. His numerous accessits on the stages of Grand Tours also embellish his prize list, as well as his victory in the Tour du Yorkshire in 2017.
