Cédric Vasseur's Cofidis training is active in the transfer market, and this time, two French people join the workforce. Indeed, the young Alexis Renard, 22 only years, leaves the Israel Start Up Nation team for which he had been racing since August 2019 to join Cofidis this winter. He notably finished 3rd in the Tour de Wallonie in July, before taking second place in the final stage of the Tour of Poland.
He will be accompanied by François Bidard, from the Ag2r Citroën training, who will bring his experience for his 7th professional season. His best result this season lies in his 7th place acquired on the 3rd stage of the Tour des Alpes last May. The two men signed up for two seasons, and will notably join Bryan Coquard, Davide Cimolai, Guillaume Martin, Benjamin Thomas or Victor Lafay within a workforce that seems to be progressing from year to year.
