The Arkea Samsic formation announced this week two new recruits to complete its workforce 2022, after having already announced the arrival of the young Alessandro Verre. This time, they are the French Nicolas Edet and Simon Guglielmi, from the Cofidis and Groupama teams, who are committed to Emmanuel Hubert.
Nicolas Edet, old 33 years, notably finished 7th twice in the last Giro, and will bring his experience in the group of climbers of the team. He notably finished second in the Tour de l'Ain in 2018, winning the same year a stage of the Tour du Limousin. He made his professional debut with the Cofidis team in 2011, that he leaves after 11 years of good and loyal service.
Young Simon Guglielmi, on the other hand, notably took 5th place in the difficult stage of Montalcino on the Giro, he who has not yet had the opportunity to confirm his promising results acquired among the hopefuls, with tops 10 sur le Baby Giro and le Piccolo Lombardia, but also on Paris Tours espoir in a very different register. Perhaps the opportunity for the native of Chambéry to prove his worth within the workforce of the Arkea Samsic team.
