It’s now official, Pierre Latour will no longer be part of the Ag2r La Mondiale team next year. With the transfer market open since yesterday, it was the opportunity for him to break the news, and the former French time trial champion announced, as rumors presented it, that he would join the ranks of Total Direct Energie next year. A radical change of course, moving from a World Tour team to a Pro Team, but who shouldn't bother him for very long. Indeed, the team aims to join the World Tour in the medium term, an argument that had to play in its final decision. He will in all likelihood be the leader, a role he has been waiting for for several years now.
