Jumbo Visma recruits a new nugget

Jumbo Visma training often relies on youth to ensure the renewal of its workforce. This new transfer will be no exception, since the young Olav Kooij, aged only 18 years, just signed his first professional contract with the World Tour team, a contract that extends to 2023. Until now he played in the training team of the Dutch structure, with great success elsewhere, since he won 3 events this season, in only 10 race days. He also finished 5th in the road race of the European U23 Championships in Plouay, after having demonstrated his qualities as a sprinter on the Tour of the Czech Republic by signing a nice 4th place on the 2nd stage.
