– Hello Milan, Could you introduce yourself? ?
"Hello everyone, My name is Milan Fretin, I have 22 years, I rode for Flanders-Baloise for the last two seasons (2022-2023). And from January I will join the Cofidis team for two seasons (2024-2025). Cycling has always been my passion”.
– How is the winter break going?, what do you do with your free time ?
“I had three and a half weeks off where I was able to enjoy things I couldn't do during the season, like hanging out with friends and going fishing. Now, I am preparing for the 2024 season″. As a reminder, Milan finished their season at Binche-Chimay-Binche on 3 last October”.
– How was this last season at Flanders Baloise? ?
“I am happy with my season. Especially in the second part, I obtained good results with many places in the top 10, anyway I feel like I took a good step compared to last season !”

- 6th of the 1st stage of the Pays de la Loire Tour Region
- 3th of the 4th and 7th of the 6th stage and 4 Days of Dunkirk
- 9in the Tour of Limburg
- Victory at the SD WORX BW Classic (1.2)
- 5th of the 2nd stage of the Arctic Race of Norway
- 8th of the 4th stage of the Renewi Tour (WT)
- 4th in stage 4 and 7th in stage 5 of the Tour of Britain

– You have signed with Cofidis, Why ? What will be your expectations and desires in this French team? ?
“I don’t know my whole season yet but it will start in the Tour Down Under. So for me it is my first big objective to obtain good results ! There is also a chance that I will do my first Giro this season. If that is the case, this will be my biggest goal, I think.
I had a good conversation with Cédric (General Manager of Cofidis), straight away I had a good feeling, they trust me and that makes me feel good. I also think that this is the best step for my future and to take new steps in my career.
I already met the team last month. We had a good time with the staff and the runners”.
